Shooting etiquette on a clay shooting ground is quite simple - never do or say anything that could cause others offence, distraction or fear. Shooting etiquette is basically a combination of thoughtfulness, common sense and safety. It is your responsibility to ascertain your squad and layout and be on time. Trap shooting (or trapshooting in North America) is one of the three major disciplines of competitive clay pigeon shooting (shooting shotguns at clay targets).
